Student Life
We give students the opportunity to bring their abilities to life.
The After School Activities (ASA) at Gwangwa Community Day Secondary School enable our students to partake in a variety of sporting and educative activities. Students develop new skills and gain an appreciation of team work and responsibility. Activities consists of a various choices such as music, drama, dance, football and netball. The activities ensure that students and teachers have fun learning together.

Student Leadership Opportunities

At GCDSS, students have the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills through activities that build stronger relationships with their peers and teachers.
Prefects: A team of form four students comprising of both male and female students elected by the school management committee to serve as student leaders during their final year. The school prefects help the school in maintaining order and descipline amongst thier colleagues.​
Peer Tutoring: Students assist fellow students in various subjects within their study groups.
Debate Club: An opportunity for students interested in debating a variety of critical issues ranging from politics to human rights among other issues.
